Dragon Golden has been consistently tasty for years. They don't have the largest menu you've ever seen, but what they offer is delicious and always tastes the same. Probably the best egg rolls I've ever eaten. Only open for takeout now unfortunately since Covid, and I miss their lunch buffet badly.
Our family has enjoyed the fabulous food at Dragon Golden for over 30 years. They maintain excellent quality and pricing, as well as warm and friendly service! We choose the drive to Statesville over going to closer Chinese restaurants because the food is far better than anywhere else. If you are thinking of trying Dragon Golden, then please give it a try. I was driving by North Carolina and happened to stumble upon this gem. The food was really good and the service was great. The lady that took my order was very friendly and nice.....Will definitely visit again. She told me they've been operating for 43 years at the same spot, must be doing something right to stay this long in business. Great food it is

Great family. Best Chinese food in town! Nicest people you’ll meet! Their buy 3 get 1egg rolls deal is what I always get :). I also got the wings and a party tray of Cantonese Boneless Chicken!! It was delicious! Don’t listen to the haters like the recent reviewer. She is their next door business neighbor and has serious issues for fabricating stories as well as her husband. They both have a known history of being criminals. Just google “Alisha Crabtree arrest Statesville, NC” and you’ll see it.
